What I Learned Today – Day 19

There is hope for the next generation!  Yep, that’s what I learned today.

As you all know, I’m up here in Warrenton, TX for the annual fall antique show and I’m sweating my ass off.  (Yes, I said that – I’m old and I’m hot and I can say whatever I want at this time – If I have offended you, I do apologize.  I should regain my sanity sometime soon (maybe when I get back home from Warrenton).

To continue today’s lesson —–

It is hot and we’ve been working long hard hours and a shower is the treat I’m looking forward to.  I go to the trailer and dang, if the hot water heater isn’t working in the RV.

Can you just imagine?  If you can’t you haven’t sweated enough.  Get back out there and try to recreate this scenario so you can understand this situation.

Sweaty, stinky, tired and out of hot water for a shower (and if you have ever experienced COLD well water – you know you need a little hot water to go with that).

So again, I ask – what is a woman to do?  Well, of course she takes care of the problem herself.

Brandon is a Certified RV Technician who started his business just this past June and he told me that business is booming.  He doesn’t even get home to his wife and young son until after 8:00 most nights.

Brandon’s appearance and manner put me at ease immediately.  I just left him at the trailer and told him to fix anything he saw wrong.

He serviced the AC, stopped a leak in the bathroom ceiling, recaulked the roof and heaven help him – he fixed that hot water heater.

His rates are reasonable and his work is A++++.
